1. വൃത്തികെട്ടതും മെലിഞ്ഞതുമായ പശുക്കൾ സുന്ദരവും തടിച്ചതുമായ ഏഴു പശുക്കളെ തിന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ഫറവോൻ ഉണർന്നു.

1. and the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. so pharaoh awoke.

2. അപ്പോൾ ഇതാ, ഭംഗിയുള്ളതും കൊഴുപ്പുള്ളതുമായ ഏഴു പശുക്കൾ നദിയിൽ നിന്നു കയറിവന്നു; ഒരു പുൽമേട്ടിൽ മേയുകയും ചെയ്തു.

2. and, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.
