3. ಸಮೂದ್ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಗೆ ಸವಾಲು ಹಾಕಿದರು.

3. the people of thamud impugned the apostles.

4. ಅಯ್ಕಾದ ಜನರು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಗೆ ಸವಾಲು ಹಾಕಿದರು.

4. the inhabitants of aykah impugned the apostles.

5. ಜಾಹೀರಾತಿನ ಜನರು [ಅವನ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಚಾರಕನನ್ನು] ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಗಳು ಹೇಗಿದ್ದವು?

5. the people of‘ad impugned[their apostle]. so how were my punishment and warnings?

6. certainly those who were before them had impugned[my apostles]; but then how was my rebuttal!

8. if they impugn you, certainly[other] apostles were impugned before you, and all matters are returned to allah.
