1. خوش قسمتی سے میں اس کی طرح امیر نہیں ہوں۔

1. peradventure I'm not as wealthy as he is

2. اور میں نے اپنے آقا سے کہا شاید وہ عورت میرے پیچھے نہ آئے۔

2. and i said unto my master, peradventure the woman will not follow me.

3. اور اس کے ساتھ ایک مہربان لفظ کہو، تاکہ اتفاق سے وہ توجہ دے یا ڈر جائے۔

3. and speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear.

4. اور ہم نے فرعون والوں کو قحط اور پھلوں کی کمی سے عذاب دیا تاکہ وہ اس میں دلچسپی رکھتے ہوں۔

4. and we straitened pharaoh's folk with famine and dearth of fruits, that peradventure they might heed.

5. کیونکہ شاید ہی کوئی ایک نیک آدمی کے لیے مرے گا۔ لیکن شاید کوئی ایک اچھے آدمی کے لیے مرنے کی ہمت کرے گا۔

5. for scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

6. اور بنی اسرائیل نے حوّیوں سے کہا شاید تم ہمارے درمیان رہو۔ اور ہم آپ کے ساتھ اتحاد کیسے کریں؟

6. and the men of israel said unto the hivites, peradventure ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you?

7. میرا باپ شاید مجھ سے ناراض ہو جائے گا، اور میں اسے دھوکے باز سمجھوں گا۔ اور میں اپنے اوپر لعنت لاؤں گا نہ کہ برکت۔

7. my father peradventure will feel me, and i shall seem to him as a deceiver; and i shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

8. اس کی مخالفت کرنے والوں کو فرمانبرداری سے ہدایت دینا۔ اگر خدا ان کو سچائی کے اعتراف پر توبہ کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔

8. in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if god peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

9. اور بلق نے بلعام سے کہا، آؤ، میں تجھ سے منت کرتا ہوں، میں تجھے دوسری جگہ لے جاؤں گا۔ خوش قسمتی سے، یہ خدا کو خوش کرے گا کہ آپ اس وقت سے میرے لیے ان پر لعنت بھیجتے ہیں۔

9. and balak said unto balaam, come, i pray thee, i will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please god that thou mayest curse me them from thence.

10. اور اپنے ہاتھ میں دو گنا چاندی لے لو۔ اور جو رقم آپ کے تھیلے کے منہ پر واپس لائی گئی تھی، اسے واپس اپنے ہاتھ میں لے لو۔ خوش قسمتی سے یہ ایک نگرانی تھی.

10. and take double money in your hand; and the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight.

11. اور جب یوسف کے بھائیوں نے دیکھا کہ اُن کا باپ مر گیا ہے تو اُنہوں نے کہا شاید یوسف ہم سے نفرت کرے گا اور یقیناً وہ ہمیں اُن تمام برائیوں کا بدلہ دے گا جو ہم نے اُس سے کی ہیں۔

11. and when joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.

12. دیکھو، ایک قوم مصر سے نکلتی ہے، جو روئے زمین کو ڈھانپ لیتی ہے۔ اب آؤ، اور اس پر لعنت بھیجو! شاید میں ان کو شکست دے کر باہر نکال دوں۔

12. behold, there is a people come out of egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; peradventure i shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.

13. نوکر نے اس سے کہا اتفاق سے وہ عورت اس ملک میں میرے ساتھ نہیں آنا چاہے گی۔ کیا میں تمہارے بیٹے کو اس ملک میں واپس لاؤں جس سے تم آئے ہو؟

13. and the servant said unto him, peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must i needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest?

14. اور بلعام نے بلق سے کہا، ”اپنی سوختنی قربانی کے پاس کھڑا ہو جا، میں جاؤں گا۔ اتفاقاً رب مجھ سے ملنے آئے گا، اور جو کچھ وہ مجھے دکھائے گا، میں تمہیں بتاؤں گا۔ اور ایک اونچی جگہ پر چلا گیا۔

14. and balaam said unto balak, stand by thy burnt offering, and i will go: peradventure the lord will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me i will tell thee. and he went to an high place.

15. یہ ایک پھیکا، نیرس نظام نہیں ہوگا جس میں یہوواہ ہر طرح کے شکوک و شبہات سے بالاتر اپنی عالمگیر حاکمیت کو آرماجیڈن کے میدان میں ثابت کرنے کے بعد اپنے چاہنے والوں کو متعارف کرائے گا۔

15. it will be no boring, humdrum system of things into which jehovah will introduce his lovers after he vindicates his universal sovereignty beyond all peradventure of a doubt at the battlefield of armageddon.

16. لہذا، آپ اپنی کوششوں کی تصاویر بنائیں گے، اور اپنے چوہوں کی تصاویر بنائیں گے جو زمین کو خراب کرتے ہیں۔ اور تُو اسرائیل کے دیوتا کی تعظیم کرنا۔ شاید وہ تجھ سے اور تیرے معبودوں سے اور تیرے ملک سے اپنا ہاتھ ہلکا کر لے۔

16. wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the god of israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

17. اُس کے نوکروں نے اُس سے کہا دیکھ ہم نے سنا ہے کہ اسرائیل کے گھرانے کے بادشاہ مہربان بادشاہ ہیں۔ ہم آپ سے التجا کرتے ہیں کہ ہماری کمر پر ٹاٹ اور ہمارے سروں پر رسیاں ڈالیں اور اسرائیل کے بادشاہ کے پاس آئیں۔ شاید یہ آپ کی جان بچائے گا۔

17. his servants said to him, see now, we have heard that the kings of the house of israel are merciful kings: let us, we pray you, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes on our heads, and go out to the king of israel: peradventure he will save your life.
